![]() Given that text is text, and can't possibly be anything but text, and given that it obviously is failing with Amazon's fonts, rather than with my own, I'm inclined to assume that Kindle Previewer (including the version they use on their website) has simply become broken beyond all repair, but I was wondering if other folks have noticed this problem with their KF8 books. My comics comes in CBZ formats and apparently the only way to put it in through Kindle Comic Converter. As is traditional for a Paperwhite update, many of the biggest features here come straight from the high-end Kindle Oasis, with the Paperwhite getting the larger display and color temperature. I'm new to Kindle and I'm looking forward to reading some comic in it. On the following screen click the dropdown arrow and choose Englishfourth one from the top. On newer versions of Kindle without categorized menu: Click on settings icon then scroll to the bottom. With an earlier Kindle Previewer app on my Mac, I had problems with Kindle's Paperwhite mode (removed in the current version) doing that, but only when a built-in font was selected-it worked correctly in "Publisher Defaults" mode-so I assumed it was simply a font problem on that machine. In my book, every single glyph is replaced with a rectangular box in the default font size, as though the font is missing literally every character, and all font sizes are being ignored. ![]() ![]() The bezels are also smaller, less than half an inch from the top and sides. I'm about to push a book through KDP, and noticed a weird problem. The screen on the 2021 Paperwhite is larger, at 6.8 inches over 2018's 6 inches. ![]()
